Peter Scornaiencki, D.C., DACBSP | Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians
Dr. Peter Scornaiencki (Dr. Pete) graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in March 2000. After working at two practices in Minnesota, he started Bordertown Chiropractic in the Sault, with his wife Dr. Rachael McCoy, in July 2001. He furthered his education, receiving his Chiropractic Sports Physician Certification in 2011 and Diplomate in 2022. He is actively involved in the community as a trustee for Hospice of the EUP and president of the Soo Bike Club. He is a former board member of the Chippewa County Community Foundation and Rotary Club . He enjoys running, bicycling, golf and hockey. He lives in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan with his wife Rachael and children; Caitlyn and Tyler.

Rachael McCoy, D.C., CCSP | Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician
Dr. McCoy graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in July 2001. She started Bordertown Chiropractic, with her husband Dr. Pete, in Sault Ste. Marie after finishing her internship in Houghton Lake Michigan. Dr. McCoy then attended Options for Animals and became certified by the AVCA as an Animal Chiropractor in 2003. She returned to the classroom again in 2011 to become certified as a Sports Chiropractor. Along with her many academic achievements she is very involved in the community.She is currently on the board of trustees for the Soo Bike Club. She has served in the past as a board member for the EDC and for the Eastern Upper Peninsula Horseman’s Association and has volunteered her time with many other organizations. She enjoys competing in triathlons, riding her horse and spending time with her two children, Caitlyn and Tyler.

Danny Armstrong, D.C. | Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Armstrong graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 2002. He practiced in both Newberry and Marquette Michigan before joining Bordertown Chiropractic in the Sault in 2009. Dr. Dan volunteers his time in the community and was formerly on the Community Services Board for Sault Ste. Marie. He lives in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan with his wife Teresa and their two children, Shea and Calla. He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and golfing.
