A very common question that we get asked is whether or not we treat children. The answer is YES. The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners’ most recent practice analysis, issued in 2010, found that about 17 percent of chiropractic patients were under the age of 18. Children are evaluated and treated differently than adults, given the difference in their size.
However, kids are becoming more active in sports and other activities at an earlier age and finding that they too end up with musculoskeletal injuries. Chiropractic is a great approach to those types of injuries allowing the avoidance of pain killers and other medications. Call and ask if we can help.
